There are many different Revolut accounts to where you can transfer funds and a plethora of ways to do it.
From a Revolut Business account to a Personal account
There are two ways to do it, you can send the funds either by using the beneficiary’s phone number or the account details.
From a Revolut Business to another Revolut Business account
To a Freelancer account - Scenario 1: Send >>> Add new counterparty >>> Company >>> Add the beneficiary’s ‘Legal name’ and, if the beneficiary has his currency accounts publicised, the account’s name should appear on the bottom of the screen with our ‘R’ logo in front of it >>> Just click on it to choose the amount and currency (please note though that there can be accounts with the same name. Always make sure that that is the correct one or send the funds using Scenario 2);
Scenario 2: Send >>> Add new counterparty >>> Company >>> Add the beneficiary’s ‘Legal name’ and click on ‘Create “[Beneficiary’s name]”’ >>> Choose External Account >>> Choose the United Kingdom as the bank country and the desired currency >>> Fill out the required account details (IBAN+BIC for any other currency / Account Number and Sort Code for GBP) >>> Fill out the beneficiary’s Revolut account address info >>> Confirm the action via SMS code. After this, the Counterparty should be added and you can either directly click on “Send funds to Name Surname” or go back to the counterparties' list in the ‘Payments’ tab and make the transfer as usual.
To a Company account - The steps should be the same as the ones for a Freelancer account.
In any of these steps, even if you choose ‘External Account’, those transfers should be both instantaneous and free.
If you sent an internal transfer and the funds didn’t arrive at the beneficiary, please contact our Revolut Business Support team straight away.
