Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Revolut Australia Trading Cashback Promotion (the “Promotion”), offered by Revolut Payments Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 21 634 823 180) (“RPA”, “Revolut”, “we”, “our” or “us”).


The terms and conditions of the Promotion are set out below. These terms and conditions apply in addition to any other terms and conditions that apply to you as a customer of RPA, including the Personal Terms, the Fees and Charges Section, and the Trading Terms.


Promotion Period

The Promotion starts on 8 August 2022 12:00am AEST and ends on 4 September 2022 11:59pm AEST (the “Promotion Period”).


What is the Promotion?

The Promotion is an opportunity for Eligible Customers to receive cashback on their first Eligible Trade during the Promotion Period. The maximum cashback you can earn on your first Eligible Trade is capped at $10 USD.


An “Eligible Trade” is defined as the first executed trade a customer places on a U.S. listed exchange traded fund (“ETF”) using the Revolut Trading product. Trades that are pending execution, as well as limit and stop orders do not meet the definition of an Eligible Trade.


Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?

In order to participate in the Promotion you must be an Eligible Customer of RPA. An “Eligible Customer” is defined as a customer that has:

  • downloaded the Revolut app;
  • set up a retail account with Revolut (“Revolut Account”);
  • passed Revolut’s ‘Know Your Customer’ checks and been onboarded;
  • an active Revolut Account (not suspended or restricted);
  • successfully signed up for a Revolut Trading account (“Revolut Trading Account”);
  • have personally received an email from Revolut inviting you to participate in the Promotion;
  • funded their Revolut Trading Account; and
  • executed their first trade, which is an Eligible Trade, before the end of the Promotion Period.


For the avoidance of doubt, if you previously placed any trade using your Revolut Trading Account you will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion.


How much cashback will I receive?

Eligible Customers will receive cashback on their first Eligible Trade made during the Promotion Period, capped at a maximum of $10 USD.


If your first Eligible Trade is for an amount less than $10 USD, you will receive that amount as cashback. If your first Eligible Trade is for an amount over $10 USD, the total amount of cashback you receive will be capped at $10 USD.


Any subsequent trades made after your first Eligible Trade do not qualify for cashback under this Promotion, even if your first Eligible Trade was for an amount less than $10 USD.


When will I receive my cashback?

RPA will credit the cashback amount into your Revolut Account within ten (10) business days after the end of the Promotion Period.


What else should I know?

RPA reserves the right to change, modify and/or supplement these Terms and Conditions, and to modify, cancel or suspend the Promotion at its sole discretion at any time. If we exercise this right we will try to give you advance notice on our website. Please contact Revolut Support if you believe you qualify for a particular benefit in relation to the Promotion that has not been awarded to you.


Events beyond the control of RPA may occur that render the awarding of the cashback under this Promotion impossible. Accordingly, RPA will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of an event outside of its control.


If you close your Revolut Account or your Revolut Account becomes suspended or restricted before you receive any cashback under this Promotion, then you will no longer be entitled to receive any such cashback and it will not be paid to you.


If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Promotion (such as for example attempting to obtain an unfair advantage through deception) we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances.


Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms can be dealt with by the Courts of the State of Victoria.

Revolut-Student Edge Cashback Promotion - Revolut Australia

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the 2022 Revolut-Student Edge Cashback Promotion (the “Promotion”), offered by Revolut Payments Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 21 634 823 180) (“RPA”, “Revolut”, “we”, “our” or “us”) and Student Edge Pty Ltd (78 116 154 904) (“Student Edge”).

The terms and conditions of the Promotion are set out below. These terms and conditions apply in addition to any other terms and conditions that apply to you as a customer of RPA, including the Personal Terms and the Fees and Charges Section, or Student Edge’s own Website Terms and Plus User Terms.

Promotion Period

The Promotion starts on 7 March 2022 12:00am GMT (10:00am AEST) and ends on 12 August 2022 11:59pm GMT (13 August 2022 8:59am AEST) (the “Promotion Period”).

What is the Promotion?

The Promotion allows Eligible Customers to earn $15 cashback when their first Revolut card transaction is made at any Coles or Woolworths and the transaction amount is equal to or greater than $5. The first Revolut Card transaction must take place during the Promotion Period.

Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?

In order to participate in the Promotion you must be an Eligible Customer of RPA and Student Edge. An “Eligible Customer” is defined as a customer that has:

  • an active Student Edge account;
  • clicked through Student Edge’s Revolut sign-up link;
  • applied for a new Revolut Standard, Premium or Metal account;
  • passed Revolut ‘Know Your Customer’ checks and been successfully onboarded; and
  • not previously closed a Revolut account or had an account become suspended or restricted.

How will I be entitled to earn cashback and how much will I receive?

If you are an Eligible Customer and make your first Revolut card payment of at least $5 at any Coles or Woolworths stores (including Coles Express and Woolworth Metro) during the Promotion Period, you will be entitled to receive a total of $15 cashback. The card payment can be made from a virtual or physical Revolut card.

For the avoidance of doubt, if your first Revolut Card transaction is an amount less than $5, or is made with a merchant other than Coles or Woolworths, you will not be entitled to cashback under this Promotion.

When will I receive my cashback?

RPA will credit the cashback amount into your Revolut Account within ten (10) business days of the end of the calendar month in which you met the eligible spend requirement and become entitled to earn cashback.

For example, if an Eligible Customer made a $5 transaction in March, the Eligible Customer would receive the cashback within ten (10) business days after the last day of March.

What else should I know?

RPA reserves the right to change, modify and/or supplement these Terms and Conditions, and to modify, cancel or suspend the Promotion at its sole discretion at any time. If we exercise this right we will try to give you advance notice on our website. Please contact Revolut Support if you believe you qualify for a particular benefit in relation to the promotion that has not been awarded to you.

Events beyond the control of RPA may occur that render the awarding of the cashback impossible. Accordingly, RPA will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of an event outside of its control.

If you make a purchase during the Promotion Period and subsequently return this purchase for a refund (or payment is otherwise reversed or declined) at any time either during or after the Promotion Period, then that purchase will not contribute to the $5 minimum payment required to receive cashback under the Promotion (and we may debit any cashback you have already received in respect of such a purchase from your Revolut account).

If you close your Revolut account or your account becomes suspended or restricted before you receive any cashback under this Promotion, then you will no longer be entitled to receive any such cashback and it will not be paid to you.

If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Promotion (such as for example attempting to obtain an unfair advantage through deception) we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances.

For Metal customers, cashback earned in this Promotion will be paid in addition to cashback earned as part of the Metal plan.

Welcome to the Revolut Australia Trading Launch Promotion (the “Promotion”), offered by Revolut Payments Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 21 634 823 180) (“RPA”, “Revolut”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

The terms and conditions of the Promotion are set out below. These terms and conditions apply in addition to any other terms and conditions that apply to you as a customer of RPA, including the Personal Terms, the Fees and Charges Section, and the Trading Terms.

Promotion Period

The Promotion starts on 1 January 2022 12:00am AEST and ends on 31 December 2022 11:59pm AEST (the “Promotion Period”).

What is the Promotion?

The Promotion is an opportunity for Eligible Customers that place an Eligible Trade during the Promotion Period to enjoy unlimited commission free trading through the Revolut Trading Stocks feature until 31 December 2022 11:59pm AEST.

Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?

In order to participate in the Promotion you must be an Eligible Customer of RPA. An “Eligible Customer” is defined as a customer that has:

  • downloaded the Revolut app;
  • set up a retail account with Revolut (Standard or Premium only);
  • passed Revolut’s ‘Know Your Customer’ checks and been onboarded;
  • an active account (not suspended or restricted); and
  • successfully signed up for a Revolut Trading account.

How will I be entitled to unlimited commission free trading under this Promotion?

If you are an Eligible Customer and place an Eligible Trade during the Promotion Period, you will be entitled to unlimited commission free trading from the date on which your Revolut Trading account is established until 31 December 2022.

Eligible Trades are not subject to any minimum trade size or quantity requirements, but must be of a value equal or greater than US$1.

What is an Eligible Trade?

An “Eligible Trade” is defined as a trade placed on a US listed share using the Revolut Trading product. Additionally, the trade must have been executed in the market. Trades that are pending market execution, as well as limit and stop orders are not Eligible Trades.

What else should I know?

After 31 December 2022 11:59pm AEST, Eligible Customers will no longer enjoy unlimited commission free trading. Please refer to Revolut’s Trading Fee Disclosure for more information on commissions and other associated fees.

RPA reserves the right to change, modify and/or supplement these Terms and Conditions, and to modify, cancel or suspend the Promotion at its sole discretion at any time.
