About the role

We’re looking for a strong trader to sit within our electronic trading desk. You will be given varying tasks and problems within trading, giving you breadth and depth of experience unmatched in almost any other job and the chance to have an impact on Revolut’s success. You will receive hands-on training from the team and develop your analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.

What you’ll be doing

• Optimising P&L
• Identifying problems, carrying out analysis, and designing solutions and executing them
• Driving automation projects
• Building and optimising scalable processes to continue Revolut's hyper growth
• Exploring and defining which projects the team should prioritise, and setting a timeline to reach goals quickly
• Digging deep into the financial data, performing extensive statistical analysis, modelling, identifying additional revenue streams, and locating areas of future automation 
• Developing relationships with our counterparties and vendors in order to optimise the trading infrastructure

What you'll need

• At least a 2:1 STEM degree from a top university
• 2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in trading
• Hands on coding experience with SQL, Python, or R
• Solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
• A magic skill to break complex problems into smaller ones and to enjoy working with data
• A natural curiosity and will to make an impact
• An interest in the financial industry
