About the role

The Credit department at Revolut is anything but ordinary. They design, develop, and launch credit products across the globe. The team manages our features from day one to the end — developing the back and front-end, the data science infrastructure, and then creating a local setup in each country with scalable risk management and portfolio management solutions. It’s a big job, but our people are a credit to us all.

We're looking for a Head of Structured Funding to drive the function within Revolut. The role is ideal for an experienced banker with relevant experience in structured funding transactions, such as forward flows, cash, and synthetic securitisations. The outcome of the role is to enable the Credit department to scale features that our customers want through structured funding transactions.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the structured funding function within Credit, including setting up a team
• Leading funding roadshows and managing communications
• Identifying new sources of funding that might be outside of the traditional structured finance channels, such as other banks, insurers, pension funds, etc.
• Managing the deal pipeline, documentation structuring, and negotiations
• Identifying best funding sources for different asset classes, including retail, SME, and commercial lending products

What you'll need

• Several years of experience setting up and managing funding of credit portfolios in a global bank
• Experience in various asset classes on the retail, SME, and commercial lending segments across multiple jurisdictions
• A deep understanding of capital and regulatory considerations around structured finance
• The ability to create structured finance cashflow models and rating estimations from scratch
• Experience leading investor relations activities and roadshows
• Independent organisation skills to prioritise and keep track of multiple outstanding items while working to meet daily deadlines
• A curious nature to fully understand how things work
