People · 24 June 2025Alex Carril
Singapore acts as Revolut’s gateway to Southeast Asia, allowing us to expand our financial solutions across the region and empower customers with smarter, more efficient money management.
As the CEO for Revolut in Singapore, Raymond’s leadership is rooted in a deep commitment to innovation and a startup mentality, always looking for ways to enhance our features and better serve customers.
Raymond, could you share more about Revolut’s growth in Singapore since its launch?
Since launching in Singapore in 2019, Revolut has experienced rapid growth and widespread adoption. We've been a driving force in disrupting the fintech industry by introducing numerous market-first products and services. In 2024, we launched a new feature every 1.5 months, and we continue that commitment with a product roadmap specifically designed for our Singaporean customers.
Our overarching goal in Singapore is to enable individuals and businesses to manage all their financial needs — spending, saving, investing, borrowing, and more — with just a few taps.

What about your journey with Revolut — what led you to spearhead the Singapore expansion?
I joined Revolut in 2022, bringing my extensive experience in finance and technology. It was the people and culture at Revolut that attracted me to join. In addition, the prospect of solving unique challenges and growing a new market was, and continues to be, exciting to me.
From Revolut’s start in Singapore, it had already built a strong foundation. However, from 2022 to 2023, our annual revenue grew by 110%, demonstrating the increasing demand for our financial solutions.
In 2024, we took the next step by launching Revolut Business to offer Singaporean companies an efficient, cost-effective financial platform.
What makes Revolut Business unique, and how has it impacted customers in your market since its inception?
Revolut Business was created to provide businesses with an easy-to-use, all-in-one money management solution. Since launching in Singapore in 2024, the Revolut Business mission remains the same: to revolutionise how businesses manage their money on a global scale.
Singaporean businesses no longer have to juggle multiple platforms. They can access a unified platform that gives them more control over their finances.
Our team is constantly listening to customers, refining our features, and ensuring that we deliver the tools that make a difference. This has been a game-changer, allowing business owners to spend less time on admin and more time on what truly matters — their business.

What's it like working for Revolut in Singapore?
Working at Revolut means being part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment that thrives on innovation, autonomy, and flexibility.
With a global team of over 10,000 employees, representing 100+ nationalities, we embrace diversity and collaboration across borders.

What’s next for Revolut in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian market?
Singapore is poised to be a launchpad for Revolut’s expansion into Southeast Asia. Its good location and business-friendly environment are helping us expand further into the region.
We plan to deepen our presence, enhance our features, and continue supporting our customers and businesses.
The momentum we’ve built in Singapore is just the beginning of an exciting journey ahead.
